Steeking

Date: Saturday March 15, 2025, 1:00-3:00pm

In this 2 hour class, you’ll learn to become comfortable with cutting into your knitting. With a tube in hand, you’ll learn how to both sew and crochet the edge of a steek, considerations for steeking garments, and how to cut and finish a steek with nice clean edges.

In preparation for the class, homework will be required and will sent to you by email to knit prior to this class or you can take the Colour Work Class in the morning and continue on to the Steeking Class in the afternoon with your prepared piece.

Our Group classes are suitable for ages 16 and up. For children under the age of 16, please contact the shop to book a private lesson on one of our class days.
