Introduction to Cables

Date: Thursday, September 19, 2024

Time: 12:00-1:00pm

Join Treena for a one hour class to learn how to cable.  While cables look complicated, they are deceptively simple and quite addictive once you see how twisting stitches can create beautiful designs.

The class will focus on Celtic Cables dishcloth and pre-class homework will be required to cast on and knit the border so that you can begin the cables immediately at the start of the class.

Our Group classes are suitable for ages 16 and up. For children under the age of 16, please contact the shop to book a private lesson on one of our class days.

 

 

Duration/Session: 1 hour session

Project: Dishcloth (will not be completed in class)

Skill Level: must know how to cast on and off, knit and purl

Required Materials:

One 50g balls of worsted weight cotton yarn, 4.0-4.5mm needles of your choice.

 

NOTE:

10% discount in store on a day that a class is being taken

Minimum of 2 for class to proceed: option for refund or reschedule if minimum not met

Cancellations prior to 72 hours will be refunded or rescheduled

Cancellations within 72 hours are non-refundable/cannot be rescheduled
