Little Houndales Knits was established in 2010 as a result of a love of yarn and a need for distraction from life's curve balls. 

In the June of 2010, their flock of Suffolk X sheep at Little Houndales Farm had been sheared, and the owner searched the internet for a company that would spin the fleeces into yarn.  After some research and several phone calls, The Natural Fibre Company in Cornwall created an aran weight yarn from the first batch of fleeces and the rest is history.
