Knitting 101
Date: Saturday, March 8, 1:00-3:00pm
In this 2 hour class, you’ll learn the fundamental skills required to get you started with knitting. Topics covered will include how to cast on stitches to start your very first row, the two stitches that make up all hand knits - knit and purl, and how to bind off your knitting when it’s all done!
Our Group classes are suitable for ages 16 and up. For children under the age of 16, please contact the shop to book a private lesson on one of our class days.
Robbie Laughlin is a knitwear designer, instructor and photographer from Toronto. He has designed patterns for many sources, including mittens, shawls, scarves and other accessories.

Required Materials:
One 50g ball of worsted weight cotton yarn, 4mm needles
Note: 10% discount offered for supplies purchased on day of the class
