After leaving the corporate world a few years ago, Mina Woodruff began exploring her creative interests. Although painting and ceramics opened new artistic possibilities, wool fibre quickly became her main focus. She now creates felted wool sculptures and wool-painted two-dimensional portraits.

Inspired by nature and mythology, her work captures the spirit of animals, birds, and imagined creatures. Mina has exhibited and sold her pieces at several venues, including Cobalt Gallery and Glasstronomy Studios. Through her work, she continues to explore her lifelong passion for art while creating unique handmade pieces.

Join Mina Woodruff for a 3-hour workshop and learn to make your own needle-felted pumpkin. You’ll practise basic needle-felting techniques, shape a simple form, and use pipe cleaners to create the pumpkin handle. You’ll also make wool curls that resemble vines to decorate your piece. All materials are included, along with a work surface and needles for use during the workshop. Mina will guide you step by step.
